And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up.
Galatians 6:9
Frustration is the feeling of being upset or annoyed, especially because of inability to change or to achieve something. And “Quitting” is another form of giving in to frustration. Frustration can result from not making progress as fast as you’d like. Frustration can also surface when you keep getting the same results after praying for a different outcome.
Sometime frustration can push you to open your mind to other possibilities. Have you ever thought about God may have another way to get you where you’re trying to go? Stop and take a moment to breath! Pray before you make another move and wait until He gives you peace about your next direction. And don’t act on how you’re feeling, because you may miss your turn again.
Use your frustrating moments to regroup, and to go back to God in prayer for His direction. Remember that it’s okay to take a break and rest in His presence. But it is not an option to give up, because this may be your season for your breakthrough!
Keep Going!
Let us pray: Lord, help us to see things for what they really are. Help us to stay strong when we become frustrated and want to give up. Open up our eyes to possibilities and resources that are available to us. And help us to keep going even when we don’t see any other way to overcome. We ask these things in your darling son Jesus name – Amen and thank God!
