Do you know what it means to totally surrender yourself to God? I didn’t until I was faced with an unbearable situation that was about to take me out. At that point, I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t have a clue, and I felt like I didn’t have anyone to talk too that would really understand.
I’m talking about me, a person my family and friends would go to for advice. I’m a survivor, and has always had a plan. This was the first time in my life that I didn’t try and tell God how to fix my problem. I was totally at the mercy of God, and I knew if He didn’t deliver me, I was toast.
The feeling was almost like a relief, because I had exalted all I knew to do about my problem. Nothing I did would work and I was losing hope. So my plan now is Jesus, nothing else added. I wrote it down and I gave in to His will. I totally surrendered everything to Him, and if this is you this morning – Let it go!
Stop trying to fix it, and get out of the way so God can work it out. He don’t need your help or your two cents. He want you to trust Him and believe. Problem Solved!
Let us pray: Lord, help us to surrender all of our problems, concerns, and trails and tribulations to You. Help us to realize that worrying will only shorten our lives and steal our joy. Give us the strength to give it all to You and walk away knowing that everything is going to be alright. We cast all of our cares on You and we surrender everything that has us down. In Jesus name we pray – Amen and thank God!
