A Word For You Today!

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

As the days are leading up to Thanksgiving, I’m reminded of so many things I’m grateful and thankful to God for. My mind rewinds and take me back to days that I didn’t know how I was going to make it to the next day – but oh what a wonderful God we serve!

Just this morning, I thanked God for covering me and my family from All harm. I thanked Him because I had several choices to choose from for breakfast. I thanked Him for a roof over my head to shelter me from the weather. I thanked Him because my lights are still on and I have eyes to see. I thanked Him because He didn’t allow my enemies to overtake me.

And I’m sure we can go on and on for His many blessings this morning. And it may even sound small to some people and may be taken for granted with a few; but for me and my house, we thank you Lord for everything!

Let us pray: Lord, if You don’t do no more for us, we thank You because You have done more than what we deserve. Your grace and mercy can’t be measured of what You have given us. So we thank You today and for evermore, in Jesus name we pray – Amen and thank God!
