John 8:12
We live in a broken world full of evil, hate, and gloom. The Bible speaks of the times people will become depressed, fearful, and hopeless. They’ll start to give up on dreams and even life. And if this is you this morning, I come to bring you the good news!
We live in this world, but we’re not of the world. John 1:4-5 says: We can have hope in the midst of darkness because God is with us and will never leave us. He has overcome the world.
God is our light and in Him there is no darkness. And if you seek His face, He’ll shine His light on every dark place in your life. He’ll expose the evil plots that were created to destroy you. He’ll give you joy for your pain. He’ll give you hope to keep going.
So if you are a believer of Jesus Christ, you have the light for this dark world and if you follow Him, you’ll never walk in darkness!
Let us pray: Father, thank You for being our light in a dark world. Thank You for shining the light on our situation, so we may see what the enemy is up too. Thank You for your protection and not allowing the darkness to overtake us. We love You Lord and we can’t live without You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen and Thank God!
