Who are you and why are you here today?
People often struggle with answering these questions because they don’t know who they are and who they belong too. Much of our lives has been lived by what people think of us and what you can do for others. Stop what you’re doing right now and listen!
I want you to know that You have been assigned a purpose in life. It is not a plan orchestrated by man, but a divine plan created by the creator Himself – “God.” He has a specific plan for your life and until you line up with it, you’ll always be restless, bored, and will begin to feel stuck from everyday activities.
Ask yourself is what you’re doing right now bringing you joy. If you answered no, then seek the Father for your plans. Don’t live the rest of our life trying to please everybody and make them happy. What about You? What do you want to do today? You owe it to yourself no matter how old you are to do some real soul searching.
God has called us out from just doing the “norm.” And because what you may be feeling is not the “norm”, you maybe questioning your assignment. If you don’t fit in your current plan, don’t stay there! Find sometime today to get alone with God to hear what He has for you. And trust His process no matter how hard it get.
Just thinking about something bigger and greater is waiting on you should make you smile. Yes, the seasons are changing and so are you. The things that use to keep you content is no longer holding you down. You are wonderfully made in His image, called by His name, and created for His purpose and glory!
Let us pray: Lord, thank You for helping us to realize that there is more to our life than where we stand. We might now understand where we are today, but we seek your face for your plan. And help us to know it when we see it. In the meantime give us peace while we wait on your plan and your timing. We ask this in your darling son Jesus name – Amen and thank God!
