1 Peter 5:8
The devil is the “great accuser.” Do not believe what he’s telling you. He’ll pick the perfect moment to try and break your spirit. (Revelation 12:10)
If you’ll listen, he’ll plant a seed of fear and unworthiness just to name a few. (1 Peter 5:8 NIV)
His strategy is to get you to believe there’s no hope for you because of your transgressions – lie, which contradict what God says – (truth) – Jeremiah 29:11.
I come to bring you the good news that God is forgiving and full of mercy and grace! (Ephesians 1:7)
Don’t stay in despair! Pray and ask God for forgiveness of your sins, and the strength not to return to it again. ( Acts 3:19)
Be encouraged my brothers and sisters. God loves you no matter what you’ve done. Tomorrow is not promised to us but if you’re reading this today, don’t take a chance with your life by not getting right with God.
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we thank You for being a God of many second chances. we thank You because You didn’t give us what we deserve – death. Instead, You gave us the grace to repent of our sins and the strength to not return no more. In You we have hope and a future. This is the day the Lord has made and we will be glad in it! Amen and thank God!
