A Word For You Today!

Ephesians 3:20

Monday’s are usually a challenging day for me to get up and moving. But this particular Monday, I was running extremely late for work and when I arrived in the lobby where I take the elevators to my floor; I noticed the doors wouldn’t open after several attempts of pushing the button.

I was trying hard to be patient, but after a couple of minutes of waiting which seemed like 15 minutes; I was about to pry the doors open with my bare hands. Go ahead and laugh, I know you’ve been there too! But to my surprise, I heard a voice behind me saying – the door to your right is open. In fact,  it’s been open the entire time you’ve been standing there.

So I ran and jumped on the elevator before the door could close, and thanked the lady for informing me that another door was open. I wondered why she didn’t say something sooner, but anyway, I made it! The point I’m trying to make this morning is have you ever been waiting on God to do something you’ve been praying a long time for?

But you were focused on your blessing coming one way and you fixed your eyes on one door, and never opened your mind to the possibility that God may open another door with a bigger blessing in it. It’s called putting God in a box; limiting His unlimited power to work in your favor.

So often we allow our limited imagination to lock us in a position to where our blessings can only come under certain terms and conditions and never broaden your vision to accommodate the miraculous power of God! Ephesians 3:20 says: “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”

Ask God to broaden your hearing and vision, so that you can hear and see what He has in store for you. Be open to the direction your blessing is coming from. Seek God for His guidance and trust His timing. Matthew 7:11 says: “The Father in Heaven gives good gifts to those who ask Him.”

Go to God in prayer in Jesus name, and ask Him for your blessing and leave it up to Him on how He choose to deliver it! His ways and His thoughts are much higher than His children, and His gifts and blessings are bigger than anything we could ever imagine.

Open up your mind this morning to the impossible, miracles, blessings, and healing God has in store for you.

Let us pray: Take the wheel Lord! I leave everything at your feet this morning. Believing it’s already done in Jesus name. Amen and thank God!
