Are you too proud to ask for help? Asking for help is hard and the world has made weakness look like a bad thing; but it’s actually a part of God’s plan.
I come to bring you the good news today that it takes more courage to ask for help, then to keep winging it on your own limited strength.
In fact, the word says: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
It is when we are weak that His grace is sufficient. We were created to lean on and trust God, and when we are weak, then He is strong in us. But you have to know when to let go and let God!
God knew Adam needed Eve, just like He knows you need help too. We are not to go at life alone and keep everything to ourselves.
Instead, go to God in prayer, and ask Him to send you help. He’ll send you someone to talk too in confidence and pray with you.
His words says: “To bear one another burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)
So don’t stay in turmoil when God is just a step away. Stop trying to be strong when you know you need help. You’re hurting yourself and you’re no help those around you.
Don’t worry about what people say or think; trust me they too need help dealing with their own weaknesses. So go to God in prayer and let Him send you the help you need. He’s just a step away!
Let us pray: Lord, We Need You and that’s enough said! Amen and thank God!
