It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve posted a video on YouTube due to the CoronaVirus outbreak. Please let me be clear; the virus has not halted my ministry but because so much information is being disseminated through the news and social media, I didn’t want to overwhelm you but wanted to give you a word from God!
People, this is not the time to lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5), but is the perfect time to go to God in prayer and ask Him for forgiveness of sins, guidance, provision and His protection.
God is not a God of confusion (1Corinthians 14:33). His will is that we have eyes to see and ears to hear the truth. My heart and my prayers goes out to everyone that has lost jobs, income, love ones and is affected by the CoronaVirus in one way or another.
But nothing is by chance, evil was planned against you, but God will turn it around and use it for our good. I come to encourage you to look to the hills which cometh your help. Your help comes from the Lord, which made Heaven and earth (Psalm 121).
And if you find yourself being quarantine or having to practice social distancing, don’t fight it! If the truth be told, many of us needed the rest or a mental health day to find ourselves; but couldn’t financial afford to do it at this time.
But God got You!
He has your miracle, your healing, and a specific word just for You! Use this time wisely by seeking God and asking Him what is the plan for you in these troubling times.
And pastors, it’s okay if you have to close the doors of the building for a few Sundays. You too need rest and you also need to hear from God concerning your congregation and for yourself.
Use social media as your platform to get the word out, and ask God how can your church (servants) help the people in the community (Bibles, well checks, food baskets, financial help). In other words, what part do we play in your divine plan.
This is the time to do a evaluation of your ministry to see if you’ve equipped the people to lean on and follow Jesus or to be depended on You. I’m not here to judge but to spark light in this dark world. And if your answer is Jesus, be at peace while you rest and if you’re unsure, now is the time to take it to the Lord in prayer. Remember the church is God’s children and not the building.
God is giving us all this time to reflect and repent so that many will believe and be saved! Will you hear from Heaven and stop and pray?
Let us pray: Lord, help us! Touch every unbeliever that they will get to know You before it’s too late. We pray for those that have to keep working to help and protect us. Give them strength dear Lord and peace of mind. Help us to see You and trust You in the midst of it all. You said in Your word that you would never leave us or forsake us, so we’re calling on You for help. In Jesus name we pray – Amen and thank God!
Please join us for prayer every Monday night from 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm central time. You can submit your prayer request to email@example.com
