God Loves You!
Did you know that God loves you so much, that He gave His only son to die for you and I? It’s true, according to John 3:16- “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” I don’t know no greater way to say “I Love You.” In fact, God is love and He is our First love. Love is so important and so powerful that God made it the first commandment; and He wants us to love one another and He explains how to love in 1 Corinthians 13:1-13- “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” This is how we are to love one another.
But If no one gives you a card, flowers, candy, or tell you they love you today; just know that God loves you and there is no greater love than the Father’s love.
Let us pray: Father, teach us how to love ourselves and one another. Help us to follow the examples you gave us in 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. Help us to love You with all our hearts, soul, mind, and with all thy strength. Help us to keep your first commandment and even love our enemies. I pray that You would spread Your Love on us today and every day in Jesus’ name- Amen.
