Jesus Is the Reason for the Season!
May God’s blessings rest upon everyone that woke up this beautiful morning! May He send His love and comfort to all that are alone physically and mentally. His word says I will be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). May His healing hands touch every person that is sick and comfort those that are grieving. This is the day that the Lord has made, look up and receive the gift of God!
May He feed every person that is hungry and a home for every person that is homeless. May He touch bank account to flow as milk and honey, that every need will be met. Jesus is just a call away and He takes pleasure in His people; and adorns the humble with salvation (Psalm 149:4). This is my prayer for my brothers and sisters this Christmas morning.

Jesus is the reason for the season!
Matthew 20:28
Do you know how much Jesus loves you? You were created in the image of the Father (Genesis 1:27), and He calls us His children. You are now adopted through Jesus Christ and is worthy and an heir to His kingdom (Ephesians 3:20). Your life is not hopeless because He has a plan for you, plans for good and not evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Jesus has redeemed you; He called you by name: you are His (Isaiah 43:1). The Father loves you so much that He made it possible to confess our sins and He would forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). He is the one who blots out our transgressions and remember them no more (Isaiah 43:25). You were created to lead! He gave you dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth (Genesis 1:26).
Jesus is the reason for the season and through Him, you can have eternal life. So, get up, wash your face, and put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:24). Jesus don’t care about your past, all the things you’ve done wrong, your failures. He cares about your future, your eternal life.
I come to encourage you today to get up and live as God had intended for you and prosper! He gave His life so that we could be free from our sins, as a gift to us all wrapped up in love. He was born to be our Savior. Jesus, You Are The Reason For The Season!
Let us pray: Thank You Lord! If we had a thousand tongues, we couldn’t thank You enough. We can’t pay You for all the things You’ve done so let our living glorify Your name. We give You all the honor and all the praise, in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen and thank God!

Ephesians 3:20
Father, we come casting All of our cares on You today! Help us dear Lord to rest in the comfort of knowing our God is capable of doing exceedingly more of what we ask or could ever imagine.
Take away the worry, fear, and anxiety that are used as distractions to cause us to doubt You. Restore our strength, faith, and peace in You. Magnify the hopes and dreams You’ve placed inside of us and help us to get focus and stay focus as You lead us on our purpose-filled journey.
Please send the provision for this day for us and our families. Wrap Your loving arms around us to protect us from all harm or danger. Smile on us Lord and let us feel Your love.

Psalm 95:1-3
“O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.”
I don’t know about you, but when I think about the goodness of God, my soul gets happy, my eyes began to water, and I utter praise with my mouth. But how do you give thanks to God?
Is it through your daily walk with Him, tithes and offerings, or love for your brothers and sisters? No matter what’s going on right now, keep giving God the praise and watch Him work on your behalf.
I challenge you today to make God smile. Find ways to praise Him and give thanks. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods!
Let us pray: Lord, we thank You for this day! A day that You woke us up. A day that You provided grace and mercy. A day that You provided food for us to eat and a roof over our heads. Lord, we thank You. Thank You for keeping us safe from seen and unseen danger. Thank You that You didn’t allow our enemies to overtake us. Lord, we thank you that You didn’t give us what we deserve. We thank You that You didn’t allow sickness to keep us hostage. Thank You for the blessings and miracles that is on its way. We thank You and we give You all the praise – In Jesus’ name. Amen and thank God.

Where Do I Go From Here?
I come to encourage my brothers and sisters that are feeling lost and don’t know where to go from here. Now, is not the time for you to lean to your own understanding, but it’s the perfect time for you to stop where you are and seek God for direction.
Why risk going the wrong way, when you don’t have to make this decision on your own? Psalms 32:8 says: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Please do not allow the anxieties of this world to influence the path you should take, Proverb 3:6 says: “In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Let us Pray: Father, Help your children that are feeling lost and don’t know which way to go. Holy Spirit, guide us on the right path and don’t let go of our hand. Lord, cover us and keep us as we seek your will. In Jesus’s name we pray- Amen and thank God!

Let Freedom Ring!
In 1831, Samuel Francis Smith wrote a poem that became one of America’s national anthems.
My country, ’tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing; Land where my fathers died, Land of the pilgrim’s pride, from ev’ry mountain side, Let freedom ring!
On August 28, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., gave his famous speech “I Have A Dream” in Washington D.C.
“When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, “free at last! Free at last! Thank God almighty, we are free at last!”
How do you see freedom?
John 3:16 NIV says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Our freedom started with Jesus Christ going to the cross to die for our sins. That day you and I was set free. It is His will that we be free to dream, free from bondage, and free to build.
Galatians 5:1- “Stand fast therefore in the liberty where with Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
John 8:36 says “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
Let Freedom Ring!
Let us pray: Lord, free us from everything that has us in bondage today! In Your Darling Son Jesus name we pray- Amen and thank God!

It all begins with You! Yes, you Father! Man seed holds the bloodline and our Heavenly Father chose you to teach, provide, reprove, and protect his children. It is you He gave authority to lead the household and to rule over all the earth.
But more importantly, He commanded you to be the spiritual leader of your home and teach your family the word of God. It is you He created to lead them to Christ and introduce them to the Heavenly Father.
I encourage you children to follow your Father as he follows Christ. Are you a Godly Father? If not, ask God to teach you how to lead as a Father and walk in truth. It won’t be easy, but He will give you strength. We celebrate and honor you earthly Father in Jesus name.

Let us pray: Thank You Lord for all the Fathers today! Teach them how to walk in your word and give them strength not to give up. Cover them with your blood and protect them from the enemy. Instill in them your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Help them to lead as You intended in Jesus name we pray- Amen and thank God!

On June 19,1865, Union soldiers lead by General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and the enslaved were now free. This day marks the abolition of slavery in Texas.
The news came two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation to free slaves throughout the nation. The country was in the middle of the American Civil War, and the states that broke away from the Union did not accept the executive order. Sadly, those slaves were not freed.
Slavery still existed in Texas until General Gordon Granger showed up with his troops to take control of the state and make sure all enslaved African American people were freed.
General Order, No. 3: “The People of Texas are informed that, in accordance with a proclamation from the executive of the United States, all slaves are free.” After hearing the good news, formal slaves immediately started celebrating- dancing, singing, praying and feasting.
This day is now recognized as a federal holiday, and is also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, and Emancipation Day for African Americans. Juneteenth was born and is now celebrated across America. A portmanteau of June and nineteenth (Juneteenth), is a day that will never be forgotten!
