1 Corinthians 6:19 – 20, Psalm 139:14
Who are you and why are you here today? People often struggle with answering these questions because they don’t know who they are, and who they belong too.
In fact, most of our lives have been spent on following worldly traditions, and the approval of others. But I come to encourage you today, that you have been fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God! (Psalm 139:14)
And God don’t make no mistakes!
You are not your own! You were bought with a price – the blood of Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
I want you to know that you have been assigned a purpose for your life. It is not a plan orchestrated by man, but a divine plan created by God! Yes, God has a specific plan for you and until you line up with it; you’ll always feel restless, feel stuck, and become bored from everyday activities.
Ask yourself – is what you’re doing right now bringing you joy? If not, seek the Father for guidance. You are not who the devil says you are, and do not conform to this world.
Stop thinking you’re not good enough, because there is something greater in you and for you. God has called you out from just doing the “norm”, and because what you’re feeling isn’t the “norm”, you’ve started to question your assignment.
Don’t force a seat at the table, create your own table. If you don’t fit in your current situation, find some time today to get alone with God to hear what He has in-store for you. Remember, you are apart of God and with Him, there’s nothing you can’t do!
Let us pray: Lord, thank You for not allowing the world to define us. Thank You that You saw more in us than we saw in ourselves. Help us to see through Your eyes who we are. Just like David, everyone saw him as a Shepard, but You saw him as a king!
Through You Jesus, we have been redeemed from sin, granted grace, and adopted into God’s Holy Kingdom. We thank You Lord for all that You do. In Jesus name we pray – amen and thank God!
